Marcel Broodthaers, oil on canvas, 1973

Traces de pattes de chat is a painting made by the cat of one of our most important Belgian art icons.

Marcel Broodthaers lived in Brussels, was a poet and visual artist. Fifty years ago, this artist and his cat expressed philosophical criticism of the work of René Magritte. A New York gallery released their art dialogue on CD and printed the painting on the CD cover.

Enjoy art and consider it a beautiful superfluity on the margins of the new year 2 0 2 4 !
