Pol Bury, mixed media, 1982

Shapes move very slowly and in anonymous silence. The simplicity behind this slow process commands meditation. Bury’s geometric shapes move in the same mysterious manner as the unperceivable movements of our planetary system.

‘Perspective Avec Cylinders’ demonstrates the extremely slow movements of small columns. Bury’s kinetic art forces the observer to perceive this visual process at the same slow pace.
