Frans Gentils, oil and charcoal on canvas and paper, 2010

From old industrial sites he often uses his workplace for his quest between fossils and the remains of human activity. His work is unmistakable and represents the growth of form at the beginning of new interpretations of our lives.

With ‘the dance of the 3 Jesuits’ Frans Gentils brings natural science and mankind into each other’s symbiosis and merges the present with the past into a new era. He paints temporary manifestations and mystifies the viewer. With his spiritual shapes, like a tangible life, the artis explores the essence behind our existence with which he, as it were, surpasses Darwinism.
